Tommie Joe Fox, 77, of Shelby died Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster. He was born on Monday, January 28, 1935 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late T.O. Fox and the late Mary Watley Fox. He was retired from the US Air Force after 22 years of service. Surviving are his Wife, Dorthey Fox of Shelby, AL; Daughter, Vickie Fox, SC; Son, Joe Fox, CA; 2 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren; 2 Brothers, Paul (Joyce) Fox of Clanton, AL, Gilbert M. (Jane) Fox of Clanton, AL; 3 Sisters, Estelle (Bobby) Hines of Alabaster, AL, Anna (Johnny) McCraw of Maplesville, AL, Geraldine (Jimmy) Jones of Chicago, IL. Friends will be received from 11-12:30 Saturday, April 7, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside services will be held Saturday, April 7, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. at Isabella Methodist Cemetery with Rev. David Bishop officiating.
