Toney Wesley Vaughn, 78, of Clanton passed away Monday, December 17, 2012. He was born on Friday, June 1, 1934 in Thompson, Georgia. Son of the late Joe Bennett Vaughn and the late Ila Belle Farr Vaughn. He was a US Navy Senior Chief, Retired and a Homebuilder. Surviving are his Wife, Joyce Vaughn of Clanton, AL; Daughters, Linda (Mike) Fortner of Memphis, TN, Leslie (Chris) Bean of Tuscaloosa, AL; Son, Larry (Stephanie) Vaughn of Hoover, AL; Sister, Bobbye McMasters of Anniston, AL; 8 Grandchildren, Jason Wesley Fortner, Kala Fortner, Taylor Vaughn, Toney Vaughn, Bradley Bean, Luke Bean, Elizabeth Bean, Annabelle Bean. Friends will be received from 12-1, Thursday, December 20, 2012 at Clanton First United Methodist Church. Services will be held Thursday, December 20, 2012, at 1:00 P.M. at Clanton First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Alabama National Cemetery,.
