Tony Randall Edwards, 53, of Clanton, Alabama went to his Heavenly home, surrounded by his family on January 15, 2024.
He and his loving wife of 35 years Veronica, built a beautiful life together with their two children, Trent and Lakeyn Edwards.
He was born October 9, 1970, in Alabama, son of Randall Edwards and Jean Edwards, brother of Rhonda (Dustin) Quinn, son-in-law of Ronnie (Doris) Blankenship, brother- in-law of Scott Blankenship, uncle to many
nieces and nephews, and loved his special pet Stella June.
He was welcomed into Heaven by many loved ones, including grandparents, Odis and Pearl Edwards, George and Fannie B Mims, and niece Kelsey Quinn.
He was a trim carpenter, and a perfectionist at everything, but his true ministry was being a firefighter and serving and caring for others in their time of need. His unwavering love and kindness to others truly made him special.
The void he leaves behind in our earthly lives is nothing compared to the celebration he is having with his Heavenly Father. We celebrate the healing and wholeness he has found with the Lord. His legacy lives on through his family and all of those who witnessed his true kindness. Forever in our hearts, and our hero is now in Heaven.
A celebration of life will take place at Lomax Assembly of God on Saturday, January 20, 2024. Friends and family will be received from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.. Services will be at 1:00 p.m., officiated by Pastor Erron Price, and special speaker David Driver.
