Tonya Shae Carter

Tonya Shae Carter, 57, of Maplesville, Alabama passed away February 23, 2025, in Birmingham, AL.

She was born August 10, 1967, in San Mateo Co., California, daughter of the late Walter Haigler and Joe Ann Haigler.

She was a Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service, and enjoyed crafting, knitting, and the company of her fur baby Annabell and family. Many know her for her kind, loving, and giving heart.

Surviving are her Son, Tyler (Emily) Carter; Grandsons, Hudson Carter, Greyson Carter; Mother, Joe Ann Haigler; Brother, Clayton Haigler; Step-brothers, Tim Jordan, Charlie Jordan, Wes Jordan, Todd Jordan; Numerous Aunts, Uncles, Niece's and Nephew's; Special friends, Bo (Kim) Deloach, Kristie Duke, Shannon Anderson, Peggy Dunkin, Jordan (Kelsey) Turner.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Walter Haigler; Grandparents, Leroy (Ollie B) Atchison; Grandparents, W.L. (Willodean) Haigler; A host of Aunts and Uncles.

Pallbearers: Casey Carter, Darrell Johnson, David Haigler, Jordan Turner, Darren Atchison, Jay Edwards.

Honorary Pallbearers: Bo Hall, Bennie Clay Smitherman, Johnny Higginbotham & Lomax Assembly of God Church family.

Friends will be received Friday, February 28, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Lomax Assembly of God.

Services will be held Friday, February 28, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Lomax Assembly of God with Rev. Erron Price, Bro. Bo DeLoach & Rev. Jerry "Tator" Harrison officiating.

There will be a private family graveside service.
