Tonya Lynn Connell Scarbrough

Tonya Lynn Connell, 45, of Clanton, Alabama passed away June 14, 2021 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Alabama. She was born September 30, 1975 in Alabama, daughter of the late Robert Connell and the late Marie McCord Connell. She was a Meter Reader for Alabama Power. She loved being a Mama and a MawMaw to Kacy and Hunter, which were her pride and joy. When she went fishing, she was always at peace. Surviving are her Daughter, Kacy Lynn Scarbrough; Grandson, Hunter Lee Smith; Brother, Wayne Connell; Sister, Earlene Edwards. She was preceded in death by her Father, Robert Earl Connell; Mother, Marie McCord Connell. Friends will be received Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, June 17, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Methodist Cemetery in Thorsby, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
