Vann Huey Smith, 72, of Clanton died Friday, February 3, 2017. He was born on Thursday, April 27, 1944 in Alabama, Son of the late Cecil H. Smith and the late Weston Littlefield Smith. He was a Teacher. Surviving are Wife, Carol D. Smith; Sons, Heath (Heather) Smith, Seth (Angela) Smith; Granddaughters, Katrina Harden, Emilee & Natalie Smith; Grandsons, William Smith, Jackson Smith, Timothy Smith; Brother, John (Elizabeth) Smith; Sister-in-Law, Barbara (William) Sowell. Friends will be received from 5-7, Sunday, February 5, 2017 @ West End Baptist Church. Services will be held Monday, February 6, 2017, at 11:00 A.M. at West End Baptist Church with Rev. James Watkins and Rev. Eddie Lightsey officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
