He was born on Thursday, May 11, 1933 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Leonard Maddox and the late Lois Price Maddox. He worked in Sheet metal at Hayes Aircraft. Surviving are Wife, Betty Maddox of Clanton, AL; 2 Daughters, Wanda (Tommy) Martin of Prattville, AL, Renae (Frank) Barron of Clanton, AL; 2 Sons, Mike (Diane) Maddox of Clanton, AL, Ronald (Linda) Maddox of Clanton, AL; 3 Granddaughters, Crystal (Tim) Martin of Jemison, AL, Bridget (Jesus) Gonzalez of Jemison, AL, Jessica (Jason) Britt of Verbena, AL; 4 Grandsons, Shane (Cathy) Martin of Clanton, AL, Ronald (Penny) Maddox, Jr. of Jemison, AL, Brandon Maddox of Clanton, AL, Scott (Kayla) Maddox of Clanton, AL; 12 Great Grandchildren; Special Friend, Rachel Tiffin; Sister, Pearl (Joe) Bice of Clanton, AL; Brother-in-law, Cubby Jones. He was preceded in death by his Sister, Polly Jones; and Brother, Horace Maddox. Friends will be received from 5-8, Saturday, March 7, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Sunday, March 8, 2009, at 1:00 PM. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lonnie Plunkett, Rev. William Clayton and Rev. Billy Boatwright officiating.
