Violet Gaynell Padgett, 78, of Verbena, Alabama passed away July 30, 2025, in Verbena, AL.

She was born November 22, 1946, in Lethcher County, Kentucky, daughter of the late Leslie Collins and the late Lucy Collins.

She was a Homemaker.

Surviving are her Husband, Ernest Edward Padgett; Daughters, Marie (Tim) Taylor, Bridgett (Tommy) Cox, Barbara (Bobby) Willis, Trista (Henry) Gibson; Sons, Roger (Nancy) Padgett, Harold (Pamela) Padgett, Shannon Padgett, Dale (Connie) Padgett; Sister, Elizabeth Partin; Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren & great, great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Leslie Collins; Mother, Lucy Collins; Sons, Jeffery Ernest Padgett, Troy Keith Padgett, Charles Leslie Padgett; Daughter, Tina Denise Padgett.

Friends will be received Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 5:00 p.m .to 7:00 p.m .at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Monday, August 4, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Bethsalem Baptist Church with Rev. William Short and Rev. Caleb Hollis officiating.

Interment will follow in Bethsalem Baptist Cemetery, Billingsley, Alabama.
