Virgie Nell Tatum, 88, of Deatsville, Alabama passed away October 16, 2024, at Hatley Health Care in Clanton, AL.
She was born November 9, 1935, in Alabama, daughter of the late Corbutt Mims and the lateVirgie Mims.
She was a Homemaker, a life long devoted member at Temple Assembly of God Church, and prided herself in caring for others. She used her talents of cooking to care for and nurture those in their time of need or sickness. She will forever be remembered for her kindness and generosity.
Surviving are her Daughter, Nelda (Rick) Claybrook; Granddaughter, Amanda (T.J.) Young; Great-Granddaughter, Piper Young.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Corbutt Mims; Mother, Virgie Lena Mims.
Services will be held , October 18, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at Temple Assembly of God Cemetery with Rev. Royce Ellison officiating.
Interment will follow in Temple Assembly of God Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
