Virginia F. Doak, 94, of Hoover died Thursday, January 10, 2019 at Brookwood Medical Center, Birmingham. She was born on Tuesday, November 25, 1924 in Tennessee, Daughter of the late Jesse H. Fortner and the late Lavonia Gossett Fortner. She was a Executive Secretary. Surviving are Son, John Steven (Sally) Doak of Hoover, AL; Grandsons, John Daniel Doak of Gadsden, AL, Jacob D. Doak of Hoover, AL; Granddaughter, Hannah E. Doak of Hoover, AL; Niece, Beverly Edwards of Nashville, TN; Great-Nephew, Adam (Scarlett) Huston of Nashville, TN; Great-Great-Niece, Charlee Huston of Nashville, TN. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, January 15, 2019, at 11:45 A.M. at Alabama National Cemetery with Daniel Doak and Marion Eubank officiating.
