Virginia N. Smitherman, 95, of Clanton, Alabama passed away November 10, 2023, in Alabaster, AL.
She was born May 30, 1928, in Alabama, daughter of the late Arnold Scott and the lateNell Scott.
She was a Payroll Clerk.
Surviving are her Brother, William H. Scott, Friend, David Moore, God-son, Matt (Chelsea) Moore, God-daughter, Sophia Moore, God-son, Ethan Moore.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Arnold J. Scott, Mother, Nell Poole Scott, Husband, Elvin E. Smitherman.
Friends will be received Sunday, November 12, 2023, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 12, 2023, at 2:00 pm. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Ferguson officiating.
Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
