Vonzel Chandler Nail

With love and sadness, we share the passing of Vonzel Chandler Nail, age 90, who passed away peacefully surrounded by family.

She was a devoted mother to Bonnie Nail (Donnie Cagle), Rusty Nail, Tara Nail (Rob) Szmyd, and Tami Nail (Howard) Brazil, and a proud grandmother to Madeline Elizabeth Brazil, Lillian Chandler Brazil, Allie Frances Brazil, Isabella Szmyd (Branden) Noack, Rose Szmyd, Megan Cagle Hunnicutt, Rachel Cagle, and Thomas Cagle. Her family was her greatest joy. A beloved teacher for many years, she touched countless lives through her love of learning. She also found happiness in life’s simple pleasures—her Dr Pepper, crocheting, and the flowers she loved. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family, her students, and all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
