Walter J. Dick Parrish

Walter J. "Dick" Parrish, 91, of Clanton died Friday, July 18, 2014 at his residence in Clanton. He was born on Sunday, July 15, 1923 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late James Pate Parrish and the late Para Lee Jones Parrish. He was a retired Truck Driver. Surviving are 2 Daughters, Barbara P. Bryant of Wetumpka, AL, Kay (Lloyd) Lucas of Clanton, AL; 2 Sons, Dickie (Juanita) Parrish of Trinity, AL, Jimmie (Tawana) Parrish of Wetumpka, AL; 8 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Anita Decker Parrish and Daughter, Shirley P. Culpepper. Friends will be received from 10-11, Tuesday, July 22, 2013 at West End Baptist Church with Funeral Services following at 11:00 am. at West End Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Wilson & Rev. Tony Smitherman officiating. Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
