Wanda M. Gentry, 72, of Verbena died Sunday, July 10, 2016 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center. She was born on Monday, June 26, 1944 in Cobb Co., GA, Daughter of the late Herman Martin and the late Allene Echols Martin. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Husband, Jim Gentry of Verbena, AL; Sons, Sam (Renee) Gentry, Fred (Tammy) Gentry; Daughter, Gina Lynn (Gary) Shelley; Grandchildren, Austin Gentry, Gage Gentry, Kelsey Phillips, David Gentry, Thomas Gentry, Levi Gentry; Great-Grandchildren, Logan, Lucas, William Thomas Gentry and Evelyn Grace Phillips. She was preceded in death by her Grandson, Wyatt Gentry. Friends will be received from 12-1 p.m., Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at West End Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. at West End Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Alabama National Cemetery. No flowers.
