Wanda Harris Hilyer

Wanda  Harris  Hilyer, 66, of Jemison, Alabama passed away August 22, 2022 at her residence.

She was born January 30, 1956 in Alabaster, Alabama, daughter of the late Eugene "Bud" Harris and the late Mary Olean Barnett Harris.

She was a Manager of Custodial Services at the Alabama 4-H Center. Wanda was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved football Saturday where she hosted her family and friends.

Surviving are her Daughters, April (Chris) Stokes, Dawn (Charlie) Thompson and Jessica (Brad) Baker; Son, Scott (Kelly) Glaze; Brothers, Charles (Patsy) Harris and Gene (Janice) Harris; Grandsons, Chris Stokes, Cade Stokes, Carson Stokes, Nate Thompson and Brodie Baker; Granddaughters, Abby Thompson, Libby Thompson, Ella Glaze and Emery Glaze.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Eugene "Bud" Harris; Mother, Mary Olean Harris; Husband, Frankie Lane Hilyer.

Friends will be received Friday, August 26, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 26, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Union Grove Baptist Church with Brady Hilyer officiating.

Interment will follow in Union Grove Community Cemetery, Jemison, Alabama.
