Wendell Paul Hand

Wendell Paul Hand, 68, of Verbena, Alabama passed away February 25, 2020 at UAB in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born August 6, 1951 in Montgomery, Alabama, and is the son of the late Hilda Ruth Hudson Hand, the late Norman Hand and the late Elsie Hand. He was a CNC Operator with ABC Rail. Surviving are his Wife, Janet Hand; Daughter, Allison (Scotty) Willis; Sons, Gary (Connie) Hand and David (Crissi) Hand; Sister, Sandra (Charles) Beard; Brother, Mike (Connie) Hand; Granddaughter, Katie Hand; Grandsons, Parker Willis, Conner Willis, Ethan Hand, Austin Barber, Cody Barber, JJ Barber and Zac Barber. Pallbearers: Jim Beard, Steve Beard, Parker Willis, Ethan Hand, Austin Barber and Charlie Finch. He was preceded in death by his Birth Mother, Hilda Ruth Hudson Hand; Father, Norman Hand; Mother, Elsie Hand; Brother, Tony Hand; Grandparents, Walter and Ola Hand, Frank and Gladys Hudson, George and Winnie Smith. Friends will be received Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Bethsalem Baptist Church, Billingsley, Alabama. Services will be held Friday, February 28, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Bethsalem Baptist Church with Brad Eubank officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain Creek Baptist Cemetery in Marbury, Alabama.
