Wilbur Dean Headley 83 of Springhill, TN passed away Oct 12. Prior to moving to SpringHill he was a life long resident of Chilton County, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his Father Marshall Headley, Mother Rosella Headley (Ellison), Both of Jemison, Al, Brother R.C. Headley of Pelham, Al, Brother Elvis Headley of Jemison, Al and Grandson Ricky Headley Jr. of Franklin, TN. Survived by his loving wife of 63 years Bobbie Headley (Baker) of Springhill, TN formerly of Chilton and Shelby County Alabama, Son Greg Headley (Kay) of Thorsby, Al, Son former Williamson County, TN Sheriff Ricky Headley (Melissa) of Franklin, TN Daughter Sharon Adams (Don) of Panama City Beach, FL, Daughter Janet Dunnaway (Wayne) of Clanton, AL Sister U.V. Woodley of Thorsby, Al Several Grand Children, Great and Great-Great-Grand Children. Several nieces and nephews and many loving friends in Chilton County, AL and Williamson County, TN. He was retired from Hiwassee land company where he worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator, He loved his family and was always the life of the party. No matter what his family or friends maybe going through his presence along would put a smile on your face and laughter in your heart. He loved spending time with his family, making everyone around him laugh, riding his 4 wheeler in the country and listening to southern gospel music. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5-7pm at Martins Funeral Home in Clanton, Al. There will be a graveside service/celebration of his life followed by interment Weds at 1:00pm at Midway Gardens in Jemison, AL with Pastor Ronnie Johnson officiating.
