William "Bill" Raymond Hurst, 81, of Jemison, Alabama passed away February 19, 2021 at Grandview Medial Center, Birmingham, AL. He was born February 12, 1940 in Clay County, Alabama. The son of John Henry Hurst and Minnie Lee McCain. He was a self-employed Master Mechanic. Surviving are his Wife, Ann Thackerson Hurst, Son, James Hurst, Daughter, Raynette (Mike) Ellison, Daughter, LeAnna Hurst, Granddaughter, Hannah Ellison, Grandson, Joe Riley (Allyson) Ellison, Great-Granddaughter, Emma Anne Vest, Great-Granddaughter, Victoria Rose Ellison, Nephew, Michael Stewart, Nephew, Brandon Endress, Brother-in-Law, Sam (Cindy) Thackerson, Sister-in-Law, Sara Thackerson, Sister-in-Law, Bobbi Stewart and A Number of Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by His Father, John Henry Hurst, Mother, Minnie Lee McCain. Friends will be received Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at First United Methodist Church. Services will be held Sunday, February 21, 2021, at 3:00 pm. at First United Methodist Church with Megan Kelly, Wes Kelly, officiating. Martin Funeral Home directing.
