He was born on Saturday, December 14, 1946 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late James Dorminey and the late Lilly Muncher Dorminey. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are his 3 Sons, Bart Dorminey of Jemison, AL, Rusty Dorminey of Jemison, AL, Jay Dorminey of Shelby, AL; 2 Daughters, Shelley D. Anderson of Jemison, AL, Rachel Dorminey of Thorsby, AL; 12 grandchildren; 2 Brothers, Sammy Joe Dorminey of Pawnee, AL, Jimmie Ray Dorminey of Jemison, AL. Friends will be received from 6-8, Tuesday, April 13, 2010, @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at 2:00PM. at Union Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Union Grove Community Cemetery, . Martin Funeral Home directing.
