William Earl Caton

William Earl Caton, 87, of Thorsby died Wednesday, June 23, 2011 at his residence in Thorsby. He was born on Tuesday, April 22, 1924 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late William Caton and the late Gertrude Collins Caton. Mr. Caton served in the US Army and was a World War II veteran. He was a Air Craft Mechanic. Surviving are 2 Daughters, Linda Varden of Clanton, AL, Rita (Gary) Embry of PrattvilleL, AL; Son, Ronnie Caton of Prattville, AL; 4 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Mae Caton. Friends will be received from 2-3, Sunday, June 26, 2011 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Sunday, June 26, 2011, at 3:00 pm. at Martin Chapel with Rev. Dennis Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Cedar Grove Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
