William E. Hayes

William Earl Hayes, 81, of Marbury, Alabama passed away January 21, 2022 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center in Alabaster, Alabama.

He was born July 23, 1940, son of the late William Hayes and Clara Hayes.

Earl was a Welder and served his country in the United States Navy. He loved gospel music and enjoyed singing.

Surviving are his Brothers, Frank Allen Hayes and Donald Hershell Hayes; Sons, Tim (Selaine) Hayes, Robert Allen Hayes, Christopher Earl Hayes and Eric Dewayne Hayes; Numerous Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Father, William Raymond Hayes; Mother, Clara Dale Hayes; Wife, Christian Hayes; Son, Roger Hayes; Sister, Clara Sue Hayes Rooks; Brothers, James Edwards Hayes, Coy Mitchell Hayes and Charles Wayne Hayes.

Friends will be received Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home.

Services will be held Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev. Bert Tippett officiating.

Interment will follow in Verbena Cemetery, Verbena, Alabama.
