William Earl Henley

William Earl Henley, age 92, of Clanton, Alabama, passed away on October 7, 2026, at UAB St. Vincent’s Chilton. He was born on July 19, 1934, the son of the late Jerome and Lena Henley.

Earl spent many years working as a mechanic and running several service stations. He was a hardworking man who enjoyed helping others.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Lena Henley; his brother, Austin Henley; the mother of his children, Tabby Henley; his son, Randy Henley; and his nephew, Ricky Henley.

He is survived by his son, Jeff (Anita) Henley; sister, Joyce (Bill) Quinnelly; nieces, Pam (Fred) New and Pat (Frankie) Baker; grandchildren, Tara (David) Littleton, Amanda (Chris) McGalliard, Kacy (Kevin) Gray, and Chris Henley; great-grandchildren, Ivie Littleton, Averie Littleton, Kipton Gray, Jonathan McGalliard, Maleigha McGalliard, Kilee Gray, and Gabriella Henley; and a host of extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home in Clanton, Alabama. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
