William G. Bill Locke

William G. (Bill) Locke, 91, of Clanton died Sunday, June 15, 2014. He was born on Friday, January 5, 1923 in Jackson Co., AL, Son of the late William W. Locke and the late Mary Ann Cox Locke. He was a Bus Driver for the Birmingham Transit Company. He was also a veteran of World War II in the US Army Air Corp. Surviving are his Sons, Grady Wayne (Carol) Locke of Oklahoma City, OK, Emmett Terry (Kay) Locke of Clanton, AL; 8 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, 6 Great-Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Sadie Mae Locke; Parents, William W. and Mary Ann Locke; All Siblings. Friends will be received from 10-11, Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Highland Baptist Church. Services will be held Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Baptist Church with Bro. Robert Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Baptist Cem., Clanton, Alabama.
