William Gerald McKinnon, 85, of Clanton, Alabama passed away September 2, 2024, at his residence in Clanton, AL.
He was born September 18, 1938, in Chilton County, Alabama, son of the late Percy McKinnon and the late Meadie McKinnon.
He was retired from many years of dedicated service as the Tax Collector for Chilton County.
Surviving are his Wife, Linda McKinnon; Daughters, Karen (Chris) Parker, Joan (Ashley) Teel; Son, William "Bill" Gerald (Amanda) McKinnon, Jr; Six Grandchildren; Five Step-Grandchildren; Seven Great-Grandchildren; Five Step-Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Percy R. & Meadie McKinnon.
Celebration of Life visitation will be held September 4, 2024, at Martin Funeral Home Chapel starting at 12:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Family requests no flowers, but send donations to Cane Creek Baptist Cemetery Fund.
