William "Pete" Paul Thomas

William Paul "Pete" Thomas passed away peacefully on February 12, 2024 in Birmingham, Alabama.  He was 60 years old and a resident of Sterrett.

Pete was born on January 2, 1964 in Selma, Alabama.  He is survived by his life partner, Betsy Thomas, mother, Joyce Campbell, older brother, Bob Thomas, as well as a number of aunts and one uncle.

Pete was an accomplished carpenter and craftsman.  He loved to deer hunt, especially bow hunting.  He also enjoyed being on the water skiing and boating with friends.  Pete spent a lot time with his dogs, Mia and Bear, who were dearly loved.

A graveside memorial service will take place Saturday, February 24, 11:00 AM at the Liberty Hill Baptist Church cemetery, 5800 County Road 37 in Clanton, Alabama.
