William Moses Powell, 77, of Clanton died Monday, January 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born on Wednesday, November 15, 1939 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Rufus Powell and the late Iona Powell. He had a lawn care service. Surviving are his Brother-in-Law, James L. Popwell of Clanton, AL; Sister-in-Law, Norma Popwell of Clanton, AL; Nephews, Greg Popwell, Darren Popwell. Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church. Services will be held Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Walnut Creek United Methodist Church with Rev. Lennie Howard and Rev. Tony Hughes officiating.
