He was born on Wednesday, April 15, 1931 in Chilton Co., AL, Son of the late Samuel Henry Schuffert and the late Lena Viola Yates Schuffert. He was a Carpenter. Surviving are his Wife, Drusilla Schuffert of Prattville, AL; 4 Sons, Joe (Sue) Fuller of Prattville, AL, Virgil (Clare) Fuller of Santuck, AL, Ronald (Lynn) Short of Nashville, TN, Benny (LeeAnn) Short of Nashville, TN; 2 Daughters, Wanda Mehan of Stillwaters, NY, Anne (Randall) Lamb of Eagleville, TN; Numerous Grandchildren & Great Grandchildren; 2 Sisters, L.V. Spiers of Madire Beach, FL, Mavis Mathews of Coopers, AL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Sam & Lena Schuffert; Brother, W.C. Schuffert; Sister, Margaret Schuffert Lot; Nephew, Kenneth Schuffert; Niece, Beverly Schuffert. Friends will be received from 6-8, Sunday, January 3, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
