He was born on Wednesday, May 24, 1933 in Ecorse, MI, Son of the late Oliver Brooks Strength and the late Thelma Bernice Wiliams. He was a Contractor. Surviving are his Sons, William (Bill) Earl Strength, Jr. of Pensacola, FL, Adam Brooks Strength of Jackson, MS, Shawn Wesley Strength of Jackson, MS, Shannon Leo Strength of Jackson, MS; Daughters, Candace Strength Joines of Hoover, AL, Danyelle Collins Lynch of Atlanta, GA, Cheryl Cerise Jaber of LA; 14 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Ann Rutherford of Clanton, AL, Sarria Ham of Clanton, AL; Brother, Richard McBrayer, MI. He was preceded in death by his Parents, Oliver Brooks & Thelma Bernice Strength. Friends will be received from 11:30-12:30, Monday, November 11, 2013 at Martin Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held Monday, November 11, 2013, at 1:00 p.m. with Father Bruce Bumbarger officiating. Interment will follow in Thorsby Memorial Cemetery, Thorsby, Alabama.
