William Richard Walker, 81, of Clanton, AL died Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, William and Penny Walker. He had been ill for several years. He was born on Friday, March 4, 1932 in Huntingdon, PA, Son of the late James B. Walker and the late Mildred Bollinger Walker. Mr. Walker was a Sergeant of the Army 1950-1953, a Mechanical Engineer, and Director of Transportation of Coffee County, KS. He is survived by his Daughter, Elaine Bock of IL; Sons, William Walker of AL and James Walker of TX; 9 Grandchildren; 9 Great-Grandchildren; Sisters, Pauline College of MD, Phoebe Querry, Norma Crownover, Barbra Hamilton, Brother, Lawrence Walker all of Huntingdon, PA; Many Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Evelyn Lewaylon; Wife, Janet Walker; Daughter, Eileen Jacobson; Sisters, Mary Fultz and Lilliam Weir. He loved his family, fishing, hunting, and teaching his son and grandsons the art of carpentry. Funeral Arrangements were made by Martin Funeral Home, Clanton, AL.
