Willie Auston (Bill) Baker, 79, of Clanton, Alabama passed away September 4, 2021 at St. Vincent's East in Birmingham, Alabama. He was born April 19, 1942 in Chilton County, Alabama, son of the late Auklee Baker and the late Minnie Baker. He was a maintenance worker. Surviving are his Son, Kenny (Lisa) Baker; Granddaughters, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Ray, Halie Vanderslice; Great-Granddaughter, Kayla Ballew; Great-Grandson, Michael Ballew; Sisters, Myrle Smith, Betty (C.D.) Easterling, Shirley (John) Coburn, Nancy Lockhart; Brother, Charles "Duck" (Rhonda) Baker; and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Wife, Judy Lane Baker; Daughter, Sherrie Vanderslice; Father, Auklee Baker; Mother, Minnie Baker; Sisters, Frances Griffin, Faye Hall, Nell Smith, Elnora Stange; Brothers, Herman Baker, Everett "Shorty" Baker. Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Terry Hicks, Rev. Rob Coburn, and Rev. Kenny "Big Daddy" Coburn officiating. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Cemetery in Clanton, Alabama. In lieu of flowers please send donations to Mutual Savings Credit Union for Kenny Bakers hospital bills.
