She was born on Saturday, August 16, 1919 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Daughter of the late Henry Davenport and the late Cora Scott Davenport. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are Son, Mr. Henry (Lula) Cox; Daughter, Mrs. Janice Vines; Son-in-Law, Mr. Jip Minor; Sister, Mrs. Virginia "Tincy" Davis; 8, Grandchildren, Terry (Judy) Cox, Jerry (Molly) Cox, Sharon (Charles) Beam, Wanda (Butch) Strahan, Linda (Phillip) Smith, Pamela (Kenneth) Riley, Teresa (Clarence) Miller, Debra Vines, Tammy (Ryan) Deloney, Michael McGuire, Kim (Tim) Ray, Tommy (Diane) Minor, Jeffrey (Wanda) Minor. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Ballard Cox; Daughter, Patricia Minor; Son-in-law, John David Vines; and Great-Grandson, Brandon Riley. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, March 11, 2009 @ Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2009, at 1:00 PM. at Martin Funeral Home with Rev.
