Willie Charles Melton, 75, of Clanton, Alabama passed away August 15, 2024, in Clanton, Alabama.
He was born September 17, 1948, in Chilton County, Alabama, son of the late John Melton and the late Aldale Melton.
He was retired from many years of dedicated service for the Food Land Company.
Surviving are his Wife, Renee Melton; Son, Ken Short; Granddaughter, Abby (Nevin) Coggins; Grandson, Will Short; Great-Grandson, Greyson Coggins; Mother-in-law, Frances Moore; Brother, Wayne (JoAnn) Melton.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, John & Aldale Melton and his grandparents.
Friends will be received Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tony Christensen officiating.
Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
Family requests no flowers donations to the funeral fund or Bell Lane Baptist Church for the children's playground.
