Willie Nell Cooedy

Willie Nell Cooedy, 88, of Clanton, left this world on February 22, 2021. Born on May 4, 1932 to Arthur Perry Williams and Betty Beatrice Jacks Williams. She was married to Chester Lee Cooedy "Mutt" on January 27, 1951. She was a farmer's wife and hard working woman who loved the farm life of growing and canning food, working in the fields and milking cows. She loved her flowers and caring for them. She loved her family and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her Daughter, Betty Mae (Curt) Brand; Grandsons, Bradley (Danielle) Brand, Ryan (Joshua Burch) Brand, Brody Brand; Great-Grandson, Walker Tate Brand; Brothers, Larry Williams of Clanton, Harold Williams of Selma. She was preceded in death by her Husband, Chester Lee "Mutt" Cooedy; Father, Arthur Perry Williams; Mother, Betty Beatrice Jacks; Siblings, Louise Terrell, Velma Easterling, Charles "Cotton Williams, Perry Williams, Roy Williams. Friends will be received Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Highland Baptist Church. Services will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Highland Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Highland Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama. Martin Funeral Home directing.
