Willie Morris Thomas, 89, of Verbena, Alabama passed away May 30, 2021 at his residence in Verbena, Alabama. He was born April 22, 1932 in Chilton Collins Chapel, Alabama, son of the late Elijah Thomas and the late Lena Mims Thomas. He was a Textile Worker/Farmer. Surviving are his Daughters, Sue Horton, Dianne (Robert) Franklin, Tammy (Michael) Smith, Lisa (Tod) Hall, Judy Cordell and Beth Smith; Sons, Billy (Karen) Thomas, Louis (Tammy) Thomas, Sammy (Jan) Shoemaker and Joe (Virginia) Smith; Sisters, Annie Pearl Davis and Doris Dean Stafford; Numerous Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by His Father, Elijah Thomas and Mother, Lena Mims Thomas. Friends will be received Wednesday, June 2, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church. Services will be held Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Unity Baptist Church with Travis Coleman, Rev. Dicky McGalliard and Rev. Travis Coleman officiating.
