Willis Alvin Teel

Willis Alvin Teel, 84, of Thorsby, Alabama passed away December 26, 2023, in Alabaster, Alabama.

He was born July 2, 1939, in Alabama, son of the late Durwood Teel and the late Gladys Teel.

He was a Electrician and retired as a Hydro Journeyman with Alabama Power, and a Flight Instructor.

Surviving are his Wife of 61 years, Scarlett Teel; Son, Gilbert Ashley (Joan) Teel; Daughter, Gretchen Teel (Bryan) Filgo; Grandchildren, Brittany Filgo Shanks, Corey Filgo, Cameron Teel, Blake Teel, Justin Veazey; Brother, John Durwood Teel; Sister, Olivia Teel Glass; 8 Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Durwood Alvin & Gladys Willis Teel.

Friends will be received Sunday, December 31, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.

Private Family Graveside Services.

Interment will be in Mt. Pisgah United Methodist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.

In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the Senior Connection, Clanton.
