Wilma Clytee Vasser Thomas, 88, of Billingsley, Alabama passed away November 13, 2019 at Shelby Baptist Medical Center, Alabaster, AL. She was born November 16, 1930 in Selma, Alabama, daughter of Dennis Lester Vasser and Portice White Vasser . She was a homemaker. Surviving are her Sons, Larry Carl (Linda) Thomas, Johnny Allen Thomas; Daughters, Carol Thomas (Johnny) Kelley, Pamela Thomas (Sam) Shepard, Melissa Thomas (Mike) Lankford, Vicki Thomas (Keith) Wilson; 11 Grandchildren; 8 Great-Grandchildren; 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Brother, Dennis Lester Vasser, Jr. She was preceded in death by her Husband, John Amos Thomas; Father, Dennis Lester Vasser; Mother, Portice Vasser; Sisters, Dorothy Ann Hoggle and Joyce Warren. Friends will be received Friday, November 15, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home. Services will be held November 16, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. at Bethsalem Baptist Church with Cleve Mallory officiating. Interment will follow in Thomas Family Cemetery, Billingsley, Alabama 36006.
