Winfred Oneal CLECKLER, 71, of Clanton died Monday, September 13, 2010 at his residence in Clanton. He was born on Sunday, August 6, 1939 in Chilton Co., Alabama, Son of the late Willie W. Cleckler and the late Agnes P. Scarbrough Cleckler. He was a Paper Machinist with Union Camp Paper Mill. Surviving are his Wife, Mrs. Geneva Nelson Cleckler of Clanton, AL; Daughter, Mrs. Pamela Wilson of Clanton, AL; Granddaughter, Ms. Scarlett Wilson of Clanton, AL; 2 Brothers, Mr. Wilton Cleckler of Clanton, AL, Mr. Jerry Cleckler of Clanton, AL; Sister, Mrs. Julia (Paul) Mims of Clanton, AL. He was preceded in death by his son, Rodney Oneal Cleckler. Friends will be received from 5:00 -8:00 pm, Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 at Zion Ridge Church of God. Services will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at 3:00 pm. at Zion Ridge Church of God with Rev. Robert Barnes and Rev. Tony Thomas officiating. Pallbearers are Jared Nelson, Jeff Hay, Lee Johnson. Andy Roberson, Donald Cleckler and Jim Smith. Interment will follow in Mt. Pisgah Cemetery, Clanton, AL.
