Winston Olen Brown, 64, of Clanton, Alabama passed away December 15, 2021 at St. Vincent's Birmingham, Alabama.


He was born October 6, 1957 in Verbena, Alabama, son of the late Audie Brown and the late Sattie Brown.


Winston was the owner/operator of Majik Karpet Kleaners, which he started in 1986. He was a Youth Minister, along with his wife, at Highland Baptist Church for over 20 years. He loved his kids at church! He always found a way to connect with each one of them. He loved teaching them about the Bible. Winston had a passion for music. He taught himself how to play the bass and guitar. He was a member of the band "Cold Steele" in the 1980's and then later finished up his band career with the group "Southern Pride". He also played the bass guitar for anyone who needed him to play. Another favorite thing he loved was teaching kids how to play the guitar. He also loved writing songs. He had his own recording studio at home (Winston Brown Studios) where he was passionate about recording music. He spent countless hours in his studio and never charged anyone for what he did. His other passion was fishing with anyone, anytime they needed someone to go. He was also President of the Chilton County Bass Club from 2007 until 2011. Winston had a great sense of humor and always loved making people laugh.


Surviving are his Wife, Robin Brown; Sister, Hazel Hann; Brother, Thomas Lloyd (Joanne) Brown; Sister, Melinda Brown; Brother, Donnie (Gail) Brown; Sister, Janice Adams; Fur Babies; Jace and Cricket; A host of other family.


He was preceded in death by His Father, Audie Brown; Mother, Sattie Brown.


Friends will be received Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church.


Services will be held Sunday, December 19, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Highland Baptist Church with Rev. Jared Hood, Rev. Ernest Fike, Bro. John Coburn officiating.


Interment will follow in Highland Baptist Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.


In lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to Gideons International.
