Wyona Doris Cleckler, 84, of Verbena died Monday, July 23, 2012. She was born on Saturday, June 2, 1928 in Elmore Co., AL, Daughter of the late Oliver W. Cox and the late Agnes Dupree Cox. She was a Homemaker. Surviving are her Daughter, Sally (Pete) Edwards of Verbena, AL; Stepsons, Alvin Cleckler, Clyde Cleckler, Wallace Cleckler, Larry Cleckler; Stepdaughter, Bobbie Jean Gothard; 2 Sisters, Melba Hudson, Brenda Easterling; Brother, Taska Cox; 3 Grandchildren, 6 Great-Grandchildren, A Number of Step Grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5-8, Wednesday, July 25, 2012 @ Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held Thursday, July 26, 2012, at 3:00 P.M. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pete Edwards and Rev. Danny Rasberry officiating. Interment will follow in Chestnut Creek Bapt. Cem., . Martin Funeral Home directing.
